Randy just wants something else to bitch about. He wants spring so he can bitch about the bugs making a mess of his clean purdy Vette.
I know cause I cleaned off over a hundred of them 2 days ago.

Thanks for amplifying my point further by adding ice fishing and the giant twine ball to reasons MN rocks . . . whadda ya got to top that Paris -

The dealership has a enclosed trailer and said they would drop it off on a trip near my home, assuming the trailer is empty going down for a pick up? I am Ok with that but I would rather pick it up and spend the time with the sales rep and mechanic learning all about the car, it is a used vehicle and I want to ensure that the pre-inspection was as good as they said it was? I did check it out three times already, it is worth the hour drive just to see it

Global warming is the cause of recent high levels of snow, not a sign it doesn't exist, and such has been the prediction of most recent climate studies. Drought and wildfires is another change we've been seeing in recent years. Increased levels of water in the atmosphere from melting glaciers increases the chance and levels of precipitation, and since global temperature differences amount to only a degree or so of increase over a decade or more it is still below freezing in areas that normally see these temperatures. Thus, there is more snow than normal in some areas.
There's a big difference between climate and weather. The snowfall is a function of weather, and climate change is a global phenomenon, in no way a function of local weather. In the Deep South where I live it's been like spring most of the winter, with temperatures considerably above normal. It's 81° as I write this, and it's been like this all week.

Woke up to snow this am. Looks like about 6-8 inches here today in Alaska. In 3 weeks and 1 day we load up the RV and drive to Colorado Springs to our new house. Then I have my 2013 GS shipped to me
I am Sooooooooo sick of long winters.

Woooohooooooo! My wife and I went today at 1:00pm and picked it up! WOW, is all I can say, first Vette and first ride was amazing to say the least! The forecast for the rest of the week was sunny and 40 so I knew the snow banks would be melting causing water to run across the highways causing salt spray. Today it was cool, about 33-35, and cloudy, no water or melting all the way back from the dealership!
I couldn't believe how nice the Z51 suspension was on the crappy roads, it was way more comfortable than I thought it would be.

This winter has been rough. I don't know why but this is the first winter in 24 years of living in MN where I actually started to think " damn I need to move somewhere warm". Spring can't get here fast enough.
