Default Difference in wheels? HRE? 360 Forged? etc?

Hey guys,

Looking for a nice set of wheels for my 08Z. Seen many different types, all of which look good on a C6. My question is, is there much difference between these type of high end wheel brands? All of them look great, just wasn't sure if there was a favored one, one to stay away from, one strictly for racing, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

HRE is probably the top brand in quality and cost.

A good quality one piece wheel that is reasonably priced would be CCW.

Any reason why going from one over another? I see forgestar look like nice wheels as well. Not trying to buy a discount tire made wheel but also not sure if I want to spend 1/10th of the actual car on a set of wheels. Somewhere in the middle would be ok ..

Difference in material and quality. Flow formed or rotary forged = CAST WHEELS

The higher end market HRE, 360, CCW, Forgeline etc etc all are FORGED wheels.

There lies the difference in pricing. Depending on application there are monobloc forged wheels that are lightest applications that we use on our race cars, but there are many options and with a Forged wheel specs are endless can be built to any offset, backspacing etc etc while a CAST wheel has a very limited scope.

Hope that helps if you need anything just hollar
