Some people just don't get it.
So I was driving around the other day since my other car was in the shop getting some services performed. I was headed into Home Depot to pick up a steel rod to weigh down my luggage cover. As I was scanning for a parking spot, I saw a yellow Nissan 370z, shiny and looking pretty good. I pulled up next to him, parked and said "Hey, you picked a good color!"
He simply stared at me for a few seconds, said "yeah. uh huh.", rolled up his window and pulled forward into the next parking spot. What a d-bag.
Couldn't help but roll my eyes and just walk away laughing and shaking my head.

I own both a Lemans Blue Vette and a Daytona Blue Z Roadster.
They are just cars.
Some people don't care about cars or their mom told them not to talk to strangers.
Maybe you look strange to him?
Besides, that guys cat just died and he was there buying supplies to build its coffin.
Just smile, laugh and move on.

yep, same type of thing happened to me..........I had a black C5 and parked next to a black 370z and we walked in a store about the same time. I spoke because he was staring at me and he never said a word. He just kept starting............I don't get it. Then again while driving home I saw a (newer) lowered black Z06 and was so busy staring I forgot to wave but I was driving............

There is a young girl in my office who drives a black 350Z. I complemented her one day on her nice car. She looked square at me and said...
...but it ain't a 'Vette...

98% of people driving a nice sports car love to talk shop. Then you run into guys like this. Ugh. So far I'm 100% on waves and waves back with fellow 'Vette owners. Reminds me of my motorcycle days. Bikers are almost always friendly with one another.

Maybe he just didn't want to have an idiotic conversation about car color with some random stranger in a Home Depot parking lot.... just sayin'
