Why does my C6 A6 Fishtail
Took my A6 C6 to the Chevy Dealer to have my transmission and rear end checked. My car fishtails off the line, the light turns green, full throttle and I fish tail and wander left to right--Scary!
Dealer found no computer codes, no transmission or rear end problems show up on the computer.
I Have Michellin AS Sport run flats. Even when new, the car did not hold the road full throttle off the line. Yes I have traction control ON.
Don't hot rod my car, so I let it go, but as we all do, I push it now and then and it still fishtails.
Asking: Would non-run flat tires fix this? Is this common with 430 HP?
Suggestions welcome.

What's the temperature? In the colder temps, mine is all over the place...but that happens when you have that much HP in front of so little weight...when the temp is closer to freezing I notice it a lot more. I absolutely never hot rod my car either .

Seriously, I have owned 4 Corvettes- All Stuck
Dead stop, rocket thrust is what all of my Vettes have had but this one.
For safety sake, I don't want to Fishtail into another car at the signal.
My360 Ferrari has no problem and it also has 430HP.
No solution? Really? Not even tires fix it?
Suggestions please.

Yes, if you smash the gas pedal to the floor in any car from a complete stop, more than likely you will get some kind of torque steer or fishtail effect. Learn to drive and let us know the results.

I think people missed this part... what tires do you have? There are much better tires than the stock ones that the vette comes with.

Maybe it was edited after a few responses? Probably I just missed it.
To the OP... yeah, you might have better luck with non runflats... also, this car drives differently than what you might be used to. Not all cars handle the same.
