Default Quick tire question-firehawks

how do you like the firestone Firehawk Wide Oval RFT?
I am looking at some C6 wheels for my C5 and they have some new firehawks on them. I've never driven on the stock run flats. my C5 currently has sumitomos that have been very good tires for me.
thanks

The Firestones are great tires for the money.. I have them on mine.. Good wearing and great all around tire. A bonus for you if they are new on the wheels you want.

I put them on my 08 Vert when I had it,They were quieter than the GY'S and gripped and cornered better !! I would HIGHLY recommend them.

They are on my car, not a bad price and last twice as long as the gy super cars previously

I like them. For the money you can't beat them. quiet, nice tread pattern, and good wear rating.

When I bought my car the dealer threw a new set on as part of the deal. Wasn't a fan of Firestone tires but, these did change my mind about Firestone. I have about 15,000 miles on them and they still look good and perform just great. I would buy another set when these are worn out.

I had the Firestone SZ50 runflats on my 97 and they were great tires. I had the Firestone Wide Oval non run flats on my C5Z and they were great. The runflat version should be good as well. The wide oval has a great tread pattern that gets water out from under the tire so you have good grip in heavy rain situations.
