Default aftermarket hood install

Are most aftermarket hoods difficult to install? If the quality of the hood is good.

Plus another 2 hours to align! Even then it won't fit as well as the original hood without some custom cutting and fitting.

Yes, I'm being told much the same around here. One person says there's nothing to it and the next says it's a nightmare. I hope to try tonight and see.

Well we fought it for 2.5 hours last night and couldn't get it aligned right. Gonna try some more tonight, but basically its a bitch.

My body shop pulled and adjusted the height of the front bumper and used washers under the bolts along the top of the fenders to get everything aligned right.

Ok, so we got it pretty close. It's at least drivable so I'm gonna take it by a body shop tomorrow for final adjustment.
