New louvered hood

New louvered hood
Hello everyone, I am thinking of replacing my current stock hood with a carbon fiber or fiberglass open louvered hood. I was hoping to find a manufacture that makes the hood with wire mesh over the slotted openings, but have not had any success (Does anyone have any suggestions). Also has anyone ever purchased after market body parts from Eklers/Ecklers catalog?. Thanks.

We have the challenge hood and the supercharger hood with vents but they do not have the wire mesh.
I have looked around and I myself am coming up empty handed. What you will have to do more than likely if you really want mesh is to have wire mess that you have picked out fiberglassed into the slots of which ever hood you end up buying.
If you have any question's about our body parts, please send me a message, and I will do whatever I can to assist you!
Thank you,
Eckler's Tech Department.

I also have the supercharger hood from Ecklers. It's pretty good but you get what you pay for. It has screens in the openings but they are not wire mesh screens. But all 6 scoops are opened and not just the back 4 which all the others seem to have, and that was very important to me. It didn't fit the best out of the box but Burke Corvettes got it to fit well after removing and adjusting the front bumper. Overall I like it but wouldn't call it top tier in quality, the underside is kind of rough, too.
These pics were before I gave them the OK to take off the front bumper and realign the hood, so it looks better now.
