Are you looking for Runflats? It all depends what you want in a tire. Many will say the Michelins are the better tire. The GY F1 supercar RF's are not the most popular tire for c6 owners.

Had goodyears on my new 08Z06...that was the online time...friend wrecked last week because of cold, pos goodyear...they just suck, I've never had tires that suck so hard as goodyear. Bridgeston were much better and I love my Michelin on the ZR1...really good grip, even at 600+ lb/ft of tq they perform really well, never had an "oh S" moment with them unless I started it...unlike crapyear, I mean goodyear, those will give you a WTF moment at 40mph out of no where just because they can...in short...go with michelin, better safety better grip, better car.
It's an 06 vert. Was going to have goodyears installed tomorrow but someone told me Michalins were a better choice. Looking for forum recommendations for which run flats to buy. Costco could install the Michalins and save me $100.00 which would cover the $44.00 cost of new TPMS senders.Thanks for any input.

You do realize that there may be (stress: may) a learning curve on lift points, jacking pucks for Costco*, right? And $44 must be about each, not all 4.
As to Michelin, most would agree that it is preferable to the Goodyears, depending somewhat on where you are, how you drive, runflat/non-runflat, etc. Still, many have selected the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP (runflat--summer tire) or the same but in A/S ZP (runflat-all season) and been very happy.
I happen to have liked my Goodyears quite a bit, but like my Michelins of the first type mentioned even moreso. That's just my opinion tho.
* I think if you can go over with the in-shop manager of Costco how to lift the car so he doesn't crack the rocker panels, and how to torque the lug nuts (they all hand-torque with some expertise), you will probably be all good. "cclive" swears by his local Costco (you can ask him), and not at them.

I had Firestones and Michelins on my 08, RF'S I liked the Firestones better they had a better grip on the corners.
typically i always say you should never EVER buy tires by brand, always buy by model when comparing. people may say hankook sucks because of a specific tire, they then overlook the rs3 which is one of the fastest street tires in production, and of course, made by hankook
but, goodyears doesn't often make good tires, michelin usually does
if you're looking at the new PSS it's a very good street tire. ps2 is an old tire and really expensive for what you get. which specific michelin were you looking at?
I've never had worse tires than F1 Goodyears. In any condition other than a hot dry day, they give about the same grip as the hard black plastic tires on my big wheel when I was a kid. Dont buy Goodyear.
Sounds like we all agree that GY R/F's are turds. In general, I just hate R/F's as I have never seen them match the ride quality of a traditional tire. On the other hand, while I have never owned Michelins on my Vette...everyone else and their mother rave about them so that many people cannot be wrong.
Michelin is the way to go. You may notice a gas mileage decrease with the A/S ZP though, don't know about the PS2 ZP. If you can wait for a little Michelin will have the Super Sport in base run flat size. I have the non runflat version and it is like night and day compared to the GY in all categories.
