Default Need Help glueing or epoxy nose panels

Upon the purchase of my C6, I notice an attempt to tack the nose panel to the side fenders. Well it came apart on my way home. I know it has to be a simple solution to fix this.

My car nose panel is bowing/flexing up on the corners where the nose panel meets the left and right front fender panels near the headlights. Enclosed is a picture where I am showing the panel popped up. The internal clip between the nose panel and fender panel is broken. Do anyone have an idea how to glue / epoxy / screw the panel down so they do not pop up from normal driving.

a) Is there an epoxy strong enough to hold this area together.
or just down.

b) Or a Clip to afix them together

Default More infor

In the first picture I am using a blue plastic tool to show the opening I want to fix.
You can also see a black tacky substance which was used to attempt to hold the two panels together. I want to glue or epoxy or screw the two panels together. Is there an epoxy out there that can do the job.

http://www.aacorvette.com/pdf/aa_c6_fascia_removal.pdf

look on page 4 of the pdf you will see the clips you need there is a square and round one for each side

you need to replace the panel clips that connect the fender and front. there are two pieces on each side I will attempt to find the part numbers for you

Part numbers are in this thread:

Thanks..

This is what I think is going on.
THe fender section have a bump that fits into a small hole in the nose panel. THe problem is the hole in the nose panel is tore. I hope the clips you find for me can be retro-fitted to hold the two panels together.

I think the clip is still there. THe nose panel has a hole in it where the clip snaps onto it. The problem is the hole in the nose panel is torn downward. I will probably have to glue it or epoxy the hole area to attach to the clip

Most likely need to take the front fascia off loosen the fenders to replace the clips, and repair the front. The clips are known to fail..

This maybe of help as well. You say your facia is torn downward, but I think that slot is required to fit into the clip.
Here is a link that shows the clips and how the front facia should look to work on the clips.
