What color to paint front spoiler?
I ordered a Z06 style front spoiler for my base model. Should I paint it DSOM or flat black? I am leaning towards flat black but want to see what others think.....

If your leaning towards flat black that is the way to go.
WHEN you damage it. Yes, when, not if, it will be really easy for you to repair and paint it yourself.

I would go flat black as well. If the base color is black to begin with, you wont even see all the scratches.
Dallas/Fort Worth is flat land and they still cant build a flat road here. There are some newish roads around here where they made the crown of the road so high and the angle to the curb so steep, I cant drive on streets that cross it (without stopping, holding up traffic, angling it just right, and throwing out a seat or 2 to lighten up). I couldn't imagine how bad the humps are in a hilly area like San Antonio.
Of course this isn't what it would look like painted because mine is a one piece, but meh...

Flat black. It will match the other stock trim items that are black, and more importantly, you will be able to touch it up better when it gets dinged up.

I've often wondered what the splitter would look like painted gloss black. Krylon makes a special spray paint for plastic called "Fusion" that bonds very well. No special prep is needed other than ensuring the plastic surface is clean of any waxes or dirt. It comes in a variety of textures and colors and at just a few dollars per can, your investment is pretty minimal.

I would go flat black as well...much easier to repair. Also you will get a bunch of little rock chips and will want to repaint every year or so. I've only had mine on for a few months and there is already a ton of rock chips. I just barely scraped my friends driveway last week and messed up one corner. It was an easy quick bondo patch and spray can fix. Believe me...even if you don't crack it somehow, the rock chips will get you eventually. See below of black spoiler on my LMB to give you an idea of how it looks. Of course I have black wheels, black rear spoiler, and other black accents so it goes with my theme. perfect.
