30+ Delivery Pics of a 60th Anniv 427 Convt yesterday in Maryland.
1 month ago Bruce and Melanie drove the 50 miles West from Annapolis to Criswell to take a "look" at the 427 Convt's. Bruce said he would be ready in the "Spring". Then he called me the next week to leave a courtesy deposit to secure himself a 60th Anniv 427 Convt as he knew they would be few in numbers as Spring neared due to 2013 production...or the lack there of. Bruce said he would pick it up the last days of Feb...which turned out to be yesterday and as his wife said, he woke up yesterday like it was Christmas morning. Can't say I blame him. I posted a ton of pictures as this Anniversary edition looks great from every angle...even if I do take bad pictures with my camera phone. Bruce and Melanie have owned Mid-Atlantic Deck & Fence Co in Gambrills, MD for the past 26 yrs and for those of you that don't know...it is a Top Flight Company in the Wash, DC/Baltimore Metro area. They arrived at High Noon as planned and were on their way inside of 75 minutes! Thats me down below(26 yrs old) in 1986 standing in front of the dealer I worked for thru out the '80s. Mr Konner had asked me to come in on a Saturday night as his daughter was having her Sweet 16 Birthday party and sock hop at the dealership. I took all the girls for rides in my friends 1955 Oldsmobile. I even taught the Konner girls how to parallel park...but not in this 1955 Olds!!!

Still trying to wipe the smile off of my face..Sorry it took me so long to reply but i just sat down at the computer after a full day and morning of driving pleasure. Then you really will be shocked to learn that we only keep about 80 new Corvettes on site and the other 30 are kept at our Maserati dealership....with another 60 due in over the next 45 days or so.

Your car is awesome. The anniversary edition is unique and very special.
I like your chrome wheels.
I purchased a 427 from Mike a week ago but it was Cyber Gray. I couldn't deal with the cleaning required on those Chrome rims. They look awesome however. Enjoy the car. I have driven my car only twice in the past 9 days but I have found that it is very smooth and easy to drive. You will have some great times in your car.
Buying a car from Mike Furman is a great experience; he takes good care of the Corvette customers. He is a very good friend.
Don't forget the Corvette Wave.
