Default Bra in rain?

Will be driving from north of Atlanta to Southern Indiana tomorrow in the rain. I have a custom fit Colgan bra. Do I leave it on the car or go braless in the rain?

Braless in the rain sounds good... someone had to say it.

You never what to get the underside of the bra wet or damp..works like sandpaper on the paint over time. Put a good coat of wax down and remove the bra in the rain.

....remove it in dry weather as well. Still works like sandpaper.

I don't like bra's,but if you want to use one, never leave a wet bra on your car to dry.

I have a GM front mask and the instruction state that if you drive in the rain with it on, just be sure to remove it afterwards and let is dry out naturaly be fore using it again. Don't understand all the front mask hatin. I use mine anytime i go on a road trip and come this "bug season" it will only come off once a week or so to clean it and the front end. It has saved my paint on many occasions. Don't leave home without it.

As long as there is no sand on the road from a previous snowstorm, the bra should be fine. Any sand that could be splashed up and get under the bra would be BAD!

The bra is fine for road travel. Just remove it if you are going to becrusing around town for a while.

I've done that a few times when caught in the rain in my other 08.Just make sure you take it off and dry things out under there and you'll be fine. It's not an issue as long as you do your due diligence.

Had a black bra on my yellow 2002 C5 for almost 10 years and rarely had it off even after washing the car. I liked the way it made the car look shorter. Did not cause any damage. No scratches, no fading etc. Went through several Atlanta downpours and two rainy trips to southern Fl. On your trip just think of all the winter road sand that will be kicked up by every semi you pass.

I agree.

I put a bunch of miles on my 08 with a bra on, including in the rain. It never did any damage to the paint I was able to see.

I have Speed Lingerie Bra on Corvette and a Wolf bra on other car. I leave them on in storms rain even when I wash cars. Once a year I remove to check and clean. No problems and have been doing this for over 15 years now and 6 years on Corvette.
