Default What is the difference between 2LT and 3LT seats??

Looking at a 2013 Grand Sport, with Heritage Package, 2 tone ebony/red seats. What is the difference from 2LT to 3LT? The 2LT description lists driver and passenger "6-way power"...

Is it just the lumbar support in the 3LT?? or are the seats fundamentally different? Also, I realize the 2LT seats are not heated, and not "perforated"...

Thanks!

When you go from the 2lt to the 3lt, you get heated front seats, sport seats with the lumbar support and adjustable side bolsters, memory seats with power telescoping steering wheel.

MakoShark72, are you getting the same car as me?

I recently picked up a 2013 Grand Sport with black/red inside. For me it had to be 3LT or nothing. I was going from a 2005 C6 which had all the same options as 3LT (I think it was called 1SB back then). I didn't want to go backwards in terms of options. So needed the heated seats + memory seats.

Also I found the seats in the 3LT more "plush" but it could just be my imagination. I like being able to adjust the side bolsters to the seat pretty much hugs me.

Not exactly.. We had a 2007 C6 w/ 3LT (or 1SB, can't recall). Really liked the seats. I don't care about the memory feature, we really didn't use it. I don't mind the manual steering wheel column. I will add the heated seat elements later at a fraction of the factory cost. The side bolsters we might miss, but the premium ($$$$) associated with the 3LT, well, we figured it just wasn't worth it.

We are looking at a 2013 Cyber Gray coupe, red/black interior, Heritage Package, red calipers, ZR1 spoiler, NPP, M6, NAV, black fender badges, for around $48 (stickers north of $63K).

Haven't bought yet, but we are talking... sounds like a pretty good deal.. We'll see. The black wheels will probably have to come OFF...I really do not like them.

No on a 2lt you get the sport seats with lumbar and adjustable side bolsters: basically it's the same seat. 1LT is is the only ones that are different. 4lt uses the same seat too, just different stitching and optional suede inserts.

The 3lt does pick up the heat, memory and power telescoping wheel.

^ I believe that changed with the '12 model year: most of the features of the 2LT & 3LT packages were "switched."
The better seats became part of the 3LT.

I just noticed, from the literature on the 2LT I am considering...

"(026) RED, TWO-TONE LEATHER SEATING SURFACES (Two-tone modified seats with perforated leather seating surfaces, crossed flag embroidery and contrasting stitching)"

What does "modified" refer to?? The seats LOOK the same as the 3LT cars I have been looking at..

I'm SO CONFUSED......

check the website (corvette.com) and compare the trims side-by-side:

1LT & 2LT have sport seats with leather seating surfaces

3LT has sport seats with perforated leather seating surfaces

3LT has power bolster & lumbar support, and heated seats

I think the two-tone is only available in the perforated leather seating surfaces
(which was part of the 2LT before MY '12)

very confusing, I agree.. !

Don't feel alone. Advertising is specifically designed to be confusing and you're going to need someone far better than a salesman to get a correct answer.

It means that the seats have been modifed with the addition of a center insert of a different color and perforation pattern. That is, the seat structure is not modified, it is the two-tone perforated central portion which is modified.

I was thinking of changing the covers on the seats in my 12 1LT to red/black and there are two part numbers for them one with heat and one without. I assume that's the only difference between the 2LT and 3LT.

One thing that didn't change between the 2LT and 3LT is the crappy leather and the use of vinyl.
