The average car today with half way decent maintenance is good for 200,000 miles, so 20,000 is one-tenth life. In human terms that is like saying you are old at eight years of age.

Surely you guys are joking! The LSx engine will go 250K miles easily if well maintained. My son-in-law has an '02 Z06 with 160K miles that will smoke most of you guys with a non-Z06 with 20K miles. My '05 has 96K and its a baby. It rocks. No loss of power at all, no oil consumption.

My '99 which I converted the engine to LS6 had 129K on it before I wrapped it around a tree. Had to much power and got away from me. Quit whining about 20K mile. Not even broke in yet. Drive the damn thing like you stole it.

When I saw this thread I was expecting the OP to say he reached 100k miles.

At that rate you should hit 100,000 mi. at the age of 118. Hope you make it.

Go over to the C7 forum. They will be glad to tell you what a old out dated POS it is!

Not even close.
Enjoy it for all the reasons you originally bought it.

Too funny! I feel guilty adding 1k in mileage since November when I purchased the car. Which now just turned 16k.
