Man it's tough living in the northeast! Bought my new Vette at the end of last July and only put 1000 miles on her since I bought her and that includes the drive home from Maryland, and the trip to and from Carlisle in August. Then she got covered up in November. Now with the C7 out and eveyone on this forum posting up pics of their rides with the top down, I'm dying!!! I sure hope that damn groundhog says an early spring or I'll go nuts for sure!

bought mine end of november, up to 1100 miles. took the afternoon off yesterday and had some top down time as it hit 70 here in pa. it was overcast but not raining. good for another few weeks
I'm in my garage almost everyday, doing something like mods, etc. If I'm really bored, I'll just input addresses into the Nav for future trips, and hope Spring comes SOON!
It sucks to put up the car, but it makes it so much sweeter to get it back out in the Spring. It makes it seem like a brand new ride, each and every year.

You've got my sympathy for having to hibernate your car all winter. You might be hard-pressed to make it here on short notice but it's supposed to be 75 in Tucson this weekend. Here's to an early spring!

Same here in CT, I feel your pain OP! By the way love your user name, that would make a great license plate!
I pull my car out into the driveway once a week and let her run for 15 minutes, I can't bring myself to driving it on these salt and sand laden roads, it's just not worth it to me!! I figure 75-90 more days, for the cars sake I can wait!!

I live just outside of Boston and feel your pain. My brand new car has barely ever seen the light of day. I did take it out last night for a quick blast on the highway. What a rush. Can't wait until I am able to put the top down for the very first time. Spring is just around the corner- I hope.
