Default Price of SOLD C6Z's lately ???

Hey guys, in the process of buying a C6Z very shortly here. Looking to see what most guys have been SELLING not asking for their C6Z's. I know mileage / condition depends a lot but a rough ball park would be nice for each. Was thinking of posting this in the for sale section as well but figured it may get moved / deleted. Thanks

Ryan

Low $30k's for high-mile 2006.

Upper $40k's for low-mile 2009.

And of course it depends on the usual suspects: Condition, maintenance, options, location, time of year, mods, history/owner(s), garage queen, track *****, use/abuse, etc etc etc.

I don't what they are selling for but I did check everything with 200 miles of my home here in Ri to see what they are asking for them. Most seem to be low mile cars and they are all asking the moon. I found one 06 for 39,900 another for 45,900. The cheapest 07 I found was 49,900, cheapest 08 was 51,900, 09 was 51,900. One 08 Cooksey for 62,900.

"high miles" being over 50,000.

"low miles" being under 30,000 IMHO.

Seems like few people want to breach the $40K barrier, but the 06/07's that sell are $35-38K for year appropriate mileage and condition (~30K miles or less). The super clean garage queens might pull a little more, but when you can get 08/09 cars with similar miles, additional features (and factory warranty) for $43-48K, it makes sense to buy the newer car.

2010's are now into the low/mid $50's also. So for people worried about valves and warranty, there might be a real cost-benefit to paying more for a newer car (or paying much less for a much higher mile car and "fixing" it).

You didn't specify "used" only, so I assume you want to know about new as well. There aren't many 2012s and 2013s left on lots and they tend to be fairly pricey. Say $75-80,000 and up out the door price. Not many are optioned with MSRPs under the high $80s.

So I guess 45000 for a 1500 mile 06 is the right price? Hud and all that.

I also paid another $1800 for a 4 year/48K miles warranty. If you feel that deal is legit. Its all up to you. Its also a cautious thing to purchase low low mile cars that are older. Some of them can be nightmares since they really aren't broken in.

The 06's and 07's , even with low miles in good condition can be had in the low 40's .. 08's in good shape with low miles are in the high 40s

09 and up and you are in the 50's on up

Still cannot beat bang for buck on the Z06. Paying 42k or even 43k for a car that can do with the Z06 can is beyond a steal IMO.

A little high IMO..not outrageous but I would try and negotiate down., point being, even with low miles, its a 7 year old car... there are a lot of Z06's out there for sale, its a buyers market... I would offer 42 maybe

Agree. I paid more for my ZO6 in December because I was shooting for something so barely used that is was almost new. 2012 3LZ with 6700 miles which had been owned by the original buyer for only 10 months. However, for the model years that Frank is quoting... I think he's pretty much on the mark from what I am seeing.
