Well, after 55k well enjoyed miles on my 07 coupe I sold it to a nice home here in the Tampa area. I have met & talked to a great number of Vette owners & enjoyed numerous Vette shows. But, it was time for a change. Did not like the early renderings of the C 7 & once I saw it, well I made the move. Picked up a 2009 Porsche 911 S Cab. Had a unbelievable 2400 miles on the clock. Got it for a fair price, and am WELL pleased with a " used Porsche ". AWESOME MOTOR CAR!!! It was a deal I could not pass up. We all must move on at one point in our lives. It was great owning a Vette and being a part of a SUPER forum.......KEEP THE WAVE ALIVE.

I just posted a similar thread. I sold my 2009 and just ordered a 2013 Porsche Boxster S. I also had a somewhat reserved reaction to the C7 renderings and prototypes although, in time, it will probably grow on me.
I hope the C7 is a huge success for GM, and I'm fairly confident it will be. It's just not for all of us.
Congratulations on your 911 S ... a truly classic roadster.

Good luck with the porsche but their will never be another fun car for me if it doesnt say CORVETTE on it unlees the money situation arises but I would downgrade but as long as I can afford one I would never get rid of my C6 vette for a porsche! JMHO..............

I will never understand why some people have to put down another person's car, whether it is a Vette or another make.
Because this is a corvette forum not a car forum and the same reason why jets fans should not tell us how they were once a patriot fan but now will be a jet fan. Good luck with the new ride but I never wave to a porsche and thats just the way it is . Not putting down anyones car but if you are switching teams we dont need to know. JMHO!
