Hello Experts. On vacation in Florida and found a 2006 Monterey Red convertible 6 speed with cashmere interior. Under 8k miles. 2LT package. One owner car at a dealer. Car is completely stock and clean.
Asking $36K. I think it is high. Offered $33k and no counter offer. I walked.

Fair offer Not good or bad, in the middle range for an 06 car with 8k miles. Bought mine 18 months ago, 2005, M6, all options, convertible with 21,100 miles for $31k. It had all my must haves ( cobalt red leather, 6 sp, convertible, low miles)

Good luck
Paid 33k for my 8,500 mile 3LT practically new '06 coupe 9 months ago. You do get what you pay for.
I do agree. I think the price is too high. My car is an 07 an looks like the car in question. Mine is a3lt with z51. I paid $36.7k three & a half years ago.
Just an FYI - bought my '06 monty red in February 2011 for $29,995 3lt/pwr top/f55/a6 no nav with 16K miles from a dealer in Minnesota - middle of winter so that might have been the reason for what I thought to be a low price at the time.

Smart move and $33k is still to high for that car.
I paid $34k nearly two years ago for a pristine like new 2007 lemans blue Z51 3LT paddle shift 6 speed Auto convert with every option but two tone seats, still under factory warranty and only 2,751 miles on it.
By the way, I left Cleveland in 1968 to go to school. Beat LeBron to Miami by quite a few years .
Staying in Tampa, north end. Found an '07 today in Sarasota. Lemans blue, cashmere interior/top, Z51, 3lt no nav. 12k miles $35k. Borla exhaust, no tune or CAI, windscreen, trunk lid cover.
