My normal response to things like this is to use the Ferrari test...if you have ever seen a Ferrari with it, then it's OK to put on your Corvette. Ferrari owners tend to stick on fewer things with two sided tape.
So I would take that with a grain of salt

I'm stationed at Fort Bragg... Plenty of lower enlisted Soldiers driving around with this crap stuck all over their cars. It's ugly ugly ugly ugly ugly. In fact, any chrome that is applied with double sided tape is a biblical sin. Please, for the love of everything that is still sacred in this country, DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR CAR.
