New MTI Racing T56 Sequential Transmission

We are in the final stages of testing for our new sequential 6 speed transmission. This sequential uses the stock housing and will fit both C5 and C6 vettes. We tested it in our C5Z on Saturday at Atlanta Motorsports Park.

Am I seeing correctly that the clutch is not being used on up shifts but is used for down shifting? I have done that with a motorcycle many years ago but never had the nerve to try up shifting without the clutch on a car.
