C6 - Report at 102,000 miles
#41
This is the best tread on the entire CF. I toast each and every one of you, to your good health, and many years of enjoyable driving.
Funny, over on the Ferrari forum there are not so many 100K milage car postings.
What a wonderful car we own.

Congrats to all the hi-milers.
For maintenance intervals on our 2009 coupe Z51, now at 52,000 miles:
Within the first 10k miles; I had the A6 trans fluid, diff fluid, and steering fluid changed.
Then at about 50k I had them all done again along with the coolant, and samples of the used fluid sent for analysis. Results:
A6 trans: fluid and trans itself in exceptionally good condition.
Diff: same
Steering: Used fluid was pretty nasty, lab said it had high wear metals and other crud suggesting overheating. I have no idea why.
Coolant: Good condition except very high hardness reading into the "danger" area. Coolant was original factory, except about 1/2 gal replaced when water pump replaced and dealer mixed "clean, drinkable tap water" with the Dexcool just like the manual says.
Either the dealer's water, or Bowling Green water, must have stalactites in the pipes.
Gotta go drive now, trying to catch up with you guys!

Yeah, although my car is 7 years old now, it only has 24k miles. I'm looking forward to many years of enjoyment driving the car, hopefully.
