Default So was there a run on C6 Sales this week?

So I wonder if there was a run on folks buying C6s after the C7 release. Anyone heard if the C6 sales increased on Monday?

I heard dealers in the Chicago area sold nearly 56 more C6's Monday than the rest of the year combined.

Check Corvette incentives on GM's site.
All have been pulled.
28% of all 2013 C6's on the ground at dealerships have been sold since Sunday night.

NO WAY GM has released numbers since Sunday.....and NO there wasn't a big run. 99% of the Corvette world was totally ignorant as to the reveal. The vast majority of Corvette owners have never heard of this fourm etc.....

I would think the remaining C6's will be a hard sell.

I think the rest of the C6's will sell out rather quick. The value factor of the C6 as well as the C7 being a disappointment for most.

I heard they will be sending the C6 tooling over to China where they will decontent the car, add a lead alloy frame to it, change the engine over to a V 6 and bring back the old Powerglide.

Yes but for a totally different reason. The C7 will sell just fine, Camaro rearend and all. People on this forum are very spoiled in terms of pricing. 90% of the Corvette buyer population has NEVER heard of a Forum Dealer nor Forum Dealer Pricing....Local dealers will jack $10-20k onto the price of the C7....C6s will be sold on price alone over the next 9 months...........

they are going to sell because GM and dealers will want them gone by the time the C7 is released.

And a disappointment for most, where are these polls that you are looking at ?

I must say ,your a little bit miss informed... all anyone had to do is check online pricing and there directed right here to the supporting dealer prices , I bought my 2013 vette from a supporting dealer, made a friend to boot

I believe the $3000 Corvette owner loyalty cash rebate expires on new 2012/2013 Corvettes at the end of February. Whether or not the incentive is extended might be telling of how C6 sales are going.

If dealers have 2012's new on the lot, they are going to give huge discounts below whats normal to get rid of them now.

with all of the new upgrades in the C7 they're going to have to seriously discount those to move them IMO
