According to the poll, only 20% of C6 owners, some of whose cars are eight years old, intend to buy a C7 in the next three years. Hardly a strong endorsement of the C7. If 80% of Corvette devotees don't intend to buy it within three years, who will?

We love our roadster C6. The C7 vents engine heat over the top, I think owning a soft top version (if it comes out) would create a "hot" back wash into the cabin when the top is down.

I love my C6. No plans to ever get rid of it. My next car will be a Z06. The one after that probably a ZR1, oh yeah, all C6s. I don't hate the C7. It looks good. Well, everything but the rear. It may grow on people. It is just that the C6 was such an awesome design.

I witnessed the birth of my 2012 GS. It was built specifically for me with the options I wanted. I started her up the first time and drove her off the line. This is the first time that I can admit I feel a connection with a car. That probably sounds crazy! I have gone through so many different cars. Usually only lasting 1-3 years tops. But this time I can feel its different. I plan on keeping this Vette for ever. My 3 year old son will enjoy it one day. It will be great to see it in 15-20 years and reminisce on my experience with him and take it for spins together and compare it to the C8 sitting next to it. If I am financially able I will be looking at a C7 in 2-3 years. Not sure if I can ever buy a used Vette though. The buyers tour was so amazing I would want to do it the same way!
I actually found myself shopping for lifts the other day. Already planning ahead!!

Will keep the Corvette and
My next car will be more spacious on the inside (I hope) with a nice smooth ride on real world roads that won't cost as much to purchase and be a better daily driver as far as parking and viewing out goes.
Mustang GT (bumpy ride again on these real world roads? but very maneuverable car with 6spd. 3.73 rear end).
Best buy performance for $$$$ 32 valve screamer
Currently having problems with 6 spd. manual transmission made in China.
vs.
Challenger (Which Challenger model)? V-6 for better gas mileage?
I am getting tired of paying the cost of gas
R/T middle of the road between all 3 models with nicest decal package and priced right if you don't go overboard with unnecessary options
SRT-8 and or Yellow Jacket The top dog of the Challenger models with $1,000 gas guzzler tax
Which ever model Challenger avoid the 5.7 engine with auto transmission that comes with that failing Multiple Displacement System blowing off timing chains.
Times are a changing and so am I.

It'll be just like all the previous new models...maybe some brief resistance giving way to wide acceptance once production starts up and the cars are out in the wild. I'm just worried that I might like it so much that I could start looking at my Red Racer a little differently in a few years. I hope not but you never know...
