Not a fan of the new style especially the rear of the car . I think the tail lights kill the car too much like a camaro look a like. I'll keep my 2008 Z06, I'm looking to add a 69 Chevelle in the future.

I bought a Centennial edition a year ago and really love it. It's my third Vet; 03, 08 and now a 12. EVERYBODY that sees the Centennial style lets me know they like it and that makes a difference. The other two coupes I owned never got the attention this GS gets.
I really like the C7 looks of everything but the Camaro tail, maybe it'll get refined in a few years and I'll get one then.
Of course, seeing and driving one might change my mind. I drive a Corvette because of how much fun it is to drive ... and how it looks.

Why don't they start one of those countdown clocks for the C8 unveil ....... C7 interior a little busy kinda C4 ish.... exterior is BUTT-ugly (literally),,,, I would hope that there is an upgrade to paint the rear fascia and the ridiculous black vents, or maybe black is the color to get???,,,,, Im glad to have gotten my 2013 GS two weeks ago,,,,, Gotta see the C7 in person with other colors....

The choice of how long I keep my C6 is not dependent upon the C7. I still have my C3 that I bought new 33 years ago. My 427 Convertible is a far superior car to my C3, and I bought it with the intent to keep it also for very long time. I've had numerous vettes in between, and most likely I will also at some point have a C7, but that does not mean I will giving up my C6.

I love my modded 08/z51 c6. With having just put on a new suspension and in light of all other mod's I will keep her for a while. I wanna put new tires on the front and then take a look back and wonder what the hell else I would drive.

I'd say 2-3 years from today because that's when the top model Vette such as Z06 or Zr1 will be out if they even call it that and that's what I'm going to order! Not saying the body of the c7 is beautiful BUT the interior is better and when I'm in the Vette I can't see the outside I see the dash and I play with the performance and this new c7 is supposed to have the best performance technology u can get for under 200k so I'm in I guess! On my way! Far as body goes C6 will always be the baddest! It was a huge upgrade from ever other corvette generation! And let's not forget the C6 Z06 and C6 ZR1 but Chevy corvettes on the map all across the world ******** on 200k + super cars!!!!

After seeing the C7 I'll be sticking with my 08 Z06 for a while. I'm hopeful that the C7 will grow on me, but the entire rear end is a step back looks wise. I also don't like all the touch screen crap and I'm guessing you won't be able to get the car without it. I'll have to see it in person I guess. I'll be in the market for a second vette in a couple years and by then the Z whatever should be out. If I still don't like it I may look for a C2.
