The January issue of Consumer Reports has Chevrolette Corvett tied for second highest in owner satisfaction with Porsche 911, out of some 106 different vehicles listed, both having 91% owners who would definately buy again. Chevrolet Volt was in first place with 92%. Cadillac CTS Coupe had only 68%, BMW 128i only 66%, and Honda CR-Z only 63% of owners who would definately buy again. The 44 top rated models include 16 Amercan, 14 Asian and 14 European models.
To each their own. I am extremely satisfied with my Corvette and will definitely buy another, but my sister thinks her Toyota Prius is "just like an airplane". (she isn't a pilot) Those polls are interesting, but won't influence me in car selection. Lots of car owners like my sister are in those polls. ;-)

Toyota Prius C ranked 87%; not too shabby, and ahead of 13 other small economy cars, trailing only the Chevrolet Volt. Sibling rivalry here? By the way, this survey covered some 350,000 vehicles, so likely your opinion may not match everyone else's, but it certainly gives you a clew as to owners satisfaction with the various vehicles available to North American buying public.
When I saw the Corvette line was recommended in CU/CR, it gave me a green light to buy mine with a certain degree of confidence. I always consult CR when ever I buy anything expensive. So far, I've never been disappointed in their recommendations. I'm hoping the same holds true for my new 'Vette.
I bought a 2013 coupe (my first Corvette) the first week of Sept. 2012.
After 6400 miles I still have permagrin.
There seem to be some disgruntled owners on this forum, but I am
totally satisfied with my C6.

The Chevrolette Corvett?
I think you're been on the wrong forum!
I have been 100% satisfied with my four Vettes during the last 16 years. I will be buying more in the future.
