Any issues parking a GS in a 1 car garage?
Does anyone park their Gran Sport in a 1 car garage? I'm wondering if the wider body make that much more of a difference..I currently have a C5 parked in mine but would trade it in on a new GS..My space is limited as is with the C5 & don't want to bring a car home that won't fit..

It is usually the people trying to get in and out of the C6 that are too wide. Two thirds of Amercans are overweight or obese. The mirrors and open doors on a G/S aren't any wider than on the coupe, and these are the determining factors, not the flared fenders.

You knock the mirrors off before you hit the wider fenders, and the distance across the mirrors is the same for ALL C6's at 82-5/8". You open the door of any C6 in the garage and it's not the wider fenders that are hitting the garage wall, it's the edge of the door.

So if a C5 or base C6 can fit within the standard opening of a garage, the GS and Z06 models can too.

Thanks for this info, and for the question from the op as I am concerned about this as well.
The info I have is 73.6" wide for the C5, 75.9" wide for the C6, and now you add the important number of 82 5/8" to the mirrors.

As stated the mirrors are the widest point. If the mirrors barely clear the door and the gargage space itself isn't much larger, common sense says why park the car if you can't open the door.

So if you have an unusual 8 ft garage door Vs the standard 9 ft door the car will fit through the door with no issues. 82 5/8 inch wide car will easily drive through a 96 inch opening with a couple of inches to spare on each side. If you have the standard 9 ft door you won't even have to watch what you are doing.

Standard door here and I pull in with no worries all of the time. you just have to go slow to judge the mirrors, but there is room.
