A resent post on the Corvette Forum reflected the fact that his supercharged engine blew-up during the process of getting it "tuned", so all does not always go well, but don't expect many to admit to their monstrous failures due to installing a supercharger. Nobody likes to admit to their stupidity. At very best, your engine life will be reduced considerably. Want a reliable supercharged C6? Buy a ZR1. It comes with a full factory warranty, not only on the engine, but the whole power train that delivers all that extra horsepower to the ground.

The number of miles driven with the supercharger on the car would offer even more insight. Is the car with the supercharger a daily driver or weekend toy helps too.
Any added maintaince or repairs?
TIA

No regrets whatsoever I would do it a thousand times over. I have an 08 ls3 as well with long tubes and with the A&a supercharger I put down 630rwhp!! Do it and never look back! Best investment I ever made!!

0! If anything mine got better!
I went from factory tune with headers to a dyno tune and the blower. I was on I-20 coming back from Dallas about a month ago and took a couple pics of the instant mpg. I can post it for the non believers but I was getting 37Mpg while cruise controlled at 83-85mph. I think I was slightly down wind but while I'm on the highway I'm never getting less then about 33 mpg
You may lose a little bit in city driving, for the simple reason you're gonna have a hard time staying off that throttle! Haha
Mine is a DD and is mostly city driving, my average on the DIC is 21

Not a regret at all. I never leave my performance cars stock anyway. Had a big nitrous setup on my last car. If you want more technical info about them come to the forced induction section cause in this section you'll get good responses but nothing in depth. My car has a Procharger, cam, and headers and makes 676/577 on only 8psi.

a great company to stand behind you????
Edelbrock used the same design supercharger that GM used for the ZR1 Supercar.
I have to imagine that GM did their design homework, and so did Edelbrock at a fraction of the price.
My vote is for the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger.

You must have had a really bad experience with FI at some point. This is not the first post you've replied negatively. I've been running my 06 with A6 for over three years with no issues whatsoever. Because it's an A6 I went with a conservative tune and am just over 500rwhp. This car gets driven in city, highway, cross country, and has been to Vettes4Vets at Talladega for the last three years. If there's a weak link, it's with the A6 and not the LS2/3.
One post about some tuner that blew up one car on CF equals the right to post some uninformed over-generalized opinion and proclamation of stupidity for everyone who runs FI. Very typical post. Thank you for posting your rebuttal based on your own personal experience.

About 12K miles so far since the install. The car is not a DD but it's not a garage queen either. There has been zero added repairs and only general maintenance. The only thing I've changed since the install was the spark plugs. I had some issues with the kit's NGK's so I swapped for the AC Delcos that are standard in the ZR1. My MPG highway stayed the same. My city MPG dropped but that's due to my right foot.

Almost 39k since supercharger added by Lingenfelter. Not a daily driver, has been driven in 36 states and on more than occasion has been driven aggressively up and down the Rockies and across the open plains of southern Texas. No maintenance or repairs needed.

A tune makes or breaks a blower install. Even more important with a turbo. All the supercharger does is put more air into the motor, its just a fancy fan. It's the tunes job to make sure it all works well.
