basically straight north, up I-65, for about an hour ! might need to take I-40 towards Nashville to connect with I-65.

I believe that National Car Rental has an arrangement with the Museum for a special one-way rate.

Good luck.

Airport is SE of downtown. I-40 inbound a very short distance and then ramp onto the parkway north (Briley Parkway if I remember correctly) which will circle around the NE side of town and put you on I-65 north to BG. PS- a total solar eclipse is going to pass right thru I-65 between Nashville and BG on Aug 21st 2017.

Unless it has changed in the past two years, I think you are confusing National for Enterprise. Turn the keys over to your NCM host and Enterprise will reclaim their car there. Very easy logistically. You have to call the Enterprise desk at the Nashville airport to arrange this.

The Enterprise one way "special" was $150 in November when I did museum delivery.

That is why I am considering the cardboard sign! Too bad there is no shuttle.
