Very nice car, and a great story. I think a lot of folks that see us driving our vettes must think that we are under-worked and overpaid people because we can afford to buy and drive a vette. You obviously worked hard and took care of your family, putting life's responsibilities first. Now it's your time to turn your dream into reality. ENJOY it!

Congratulations. Great car in an awesome color.
Thank you for your post of the history of long hours and hard work that enabled you to achieve a dream.
Great pics and I really liked the one of the vette on the back of your truck in front of MacMulkin.

Congratulations on the new Corvette.....it's gorgeous! Working hard, saving and actually having the money to buy something (instead going into debt) used to be the American way. Evidently, people don't learn. I recently read where consumer debt is again at an all-time high. We have spineless politicians and an idiotic administration who won't stop spending money we don't have. The USA is a debtor nation plunging towards bankruptcy. Common sense is gone.
You can be proud of yourself and your values....values which I also identify with! Enjoy your wonderful new Corvette!

Congrats on your new vet. She is beautiful. I decide to get one two year ago and continue to enjoy her every day. Thanks for serving our country as well as I served our country under Readon era too.
Enjoy your ride and you will not regret.

now ,get out and drive that red beauty!!
here's a short story for ya...at 66 , yesterday(Christmas Morning), wife said," you gotta run to the gorcery store for items we missed for lunch with all our kids and grandkids comin' over"
...Sooooooooooo, i just had to take my vette out ,heh heh...my one grandson called asked if he could come over early, sure , i said. Picked him up in the vette and did some spirited driving while heading to the market... the grin on his face was a cool Christmas present..
