YES, the frame is the same for a GS and regular coupe for the same year.

Same everything except for the bigger brakes and tires, flared fenders, fake scoop and 100+ extra pounds of weight.

So what you are saying is, not same everything at all. Don't forget "cool factor", not the same.

True. The Coupe is pretty cool. The GS is not so bad either.

The standard coupe or convertible is quicker and faster, provides more mpg, and can be equipped with all season tires, so it is safer to drive in cool and wet conditions, rather than only in dry, warm conditions like the G/S styling option. Oh yea, the standard coupe and convertible also provide a more comfortable and controlled ride on everyday roads, especially in the rain. :yesnod

Yeah…I guess I should sell my GS since it's a slow, overweight pos.

couldn't wait to hear what Mr sour grapes had to say about it...

Put a STOCK C6 coupe and a STOCK GS on any road race track and then tell me how great it is. The standard coupe is a great car BUT it is NOT up to the GS standards of performance.

Are the frame dimensions different on the Z06?
Not the material the frame is made from but the dimensions, are they any different than the coupe?
Also, how does a question about frame dimensions turn into a mine is better than yours thread?
This has always confused me. I get than some folks like the narrow bodied version and some like the wide bodied version. Why does it have to be that one is better than the other? Why can't they both be good but simply different?

For sure, I've had the base coupe and now the GS, love both, two totally different cars.

Give it a rest.

I'm on my second standard C6 coupe, and it's the best car for my needs.
The GS corners better and stops better than mine, for some people that's important.

All the C6's are great cars, with different tradeoffs. Don't whine about the choices other people make.
