Bumping an old thread and also a bit of a hijack, but I know a lot of folks don't like starting new threads on similar topics.
I need to replace my brakes on my '07 M6 base, and I want to upgrade to z51 brakes -- but mainly I just want some beautiful red calipers to with it
I'm brand new to vettes, so my ignorance is astounding. Wondering if people could chime in with the best method for upgrading my brakes, and getting some red calipers to go with them. I've read that some brakes would require me to use different wheels/tries, or use spacers - which I would prefer to avoid.
Let me know what you're advice is to getting some upgraded brakes/red calipers are. And if anyone could link me to a good source for knowledge on brakes, rotors, calipers...etc I would love to learn. Thanks!
