Quick HP question

430 at the wheels for the Z06 sounds about right, since most people quote a 15% drop from flywheel to rear wheels for manual tranny Vettes.
That percentage would also mean that the LS3 is about 365 - 370 at the rear wheels for manual tranny cars, or about 352 - 357 for automatic tranny cars.
I think the drop is about 18% for Vettes with the automatic tranny.

465 at the wheels is a very minimal drive train drop off, those numbers surprise me. I had a Roush 427 small block that was 555 st the crank, the wheel hp when we dynoed it was 440. To lose less than 10% on your 427 REDFIVE is amazing.

the drive train in the corvette takes about 50 hp to spin up to 7000rpms (engine) in 4th gear.
My car stock made 347rwhp on a mustang dyno.
My built engine made 552hp on the engine dyno and 499.3 on the same mustang dyno.
