Snow Cat Vette

A year ago some member from Europe somewhere showed some all out snow racing in one. It was one of those small countries where cabin fever can get pretty serious. Imagine the mindset of the guy who invented ice fishing at sunrise

Cool shots and it is always fun to let the rear end hang out in the snow with any car......especially sports cars!
At least with all the aluminum and composite components within the Vette, under-carriage rust would be kept to a minimum

Glad to see you joined the club.
Actually, I don't enjoy driving ours in snow and normally use the Toyotas. But with A/S tires, 2" snow is easy and 4" is do-able for short distances on flat roads. Don't want to be stuck in the Toyota for 2-3 months when we get to Florida...

Some people only have the vette so they have to drive in the snow. I have other cars for that so no need plus I wouldn't have a vette as my only car. I couldn't do all the things I need to with just a vette.

I drove vettes year around for 22 years of the time I lived in Minneapolis. A lot of that time they were my DD and only vehicle so had no choice no matter what the weather was doing. Never got stuck once during all those years.

You are 100% spot on.
Not everyone has the same option as you. What 'if' you were visiting someone in New York in early October and a freak storm hits and snow falls? Not going to drive your car home the next day if you have to be home so you can go to work? And some people have no issues driving them in the snow. My old boss drove his C5 every day of the year and this was in Rochester, NY.
