Need Opinions on 2013 427 Deal

If you sell your 07 yourself, you will need an extra 27K to buy the 427. Unless you sell it first. You will pay more sales tax if your state has one. You will have more paper work to handle and have to deal with low ballers and tire kickers. It may be worth the effort, but it's your call.

Thank you everyone for your input. Signed the papers tonight and will pick it up tomorrow. I test drove it today and that was all it took. I don't like to test drive until I know the numbers will work for me, it takes some of the emotion out of it that way. In a nutshell, it worked out to my car and $49K, minus $3K in GM redemption money, so my car and $46K out the door. Tag and tax was included in that, so no money out of pocket.
I am very pleased with the deal, and a very, very happy owner of a new 427.
Thanks again to all.

Beware of Kerbeck
Kerbeck will try to rape you on your trade. They valued my 07 Vert 3lt back in October at $25,000. Car had 27,000 miles on it. I ended up getting $33,500 from another dealer and the new car at $3000 under invoice.

I've been separating my new car purchases from selling my old car for a while. I try to get the best deal on each separately.

I would agree, the deal sounds fair, 12,000 plus the 3,000 current corvette owner discount. Did you check with Mike Furman at Criswell, that is where I got my 427 Vert and I beleive I got a great deal?
