Default Only in Minnesota.... 50 Degrees and Sunny....time for a Corvette Drive? It snows!

Got up and went for a drive in the sunny 50 degree morning sun. Came home and washed the car. Not two hours later we get hit with our first snowfall of the winter. Only in Minnesota, but at least I can say I drove it on a snowy day!

It is parked in my heated garage and I have the day off. Going to clean and detail the wheels and wheel wells. Then detail the rest of the car this weekend. I will finish it off by putting a nice warm CoverKing car cover on him for a long winters nap.

Regards,
Scott

I drove my car wedesday.
Yesterday, since they were talking rain, with cooler temps last night, and flurries, I rode my Goldwing, thinking the tar was too warm to allow accumulation.
Wrong!

Down here we don't have any accumultaion. I plan on driving the car until theyput salt down. Cold temps make for great horsepower.

I didn't realize any of you guys were still up there. We have more Minnesota tags down here than Florida tags. From now until April I can drive my Vette with the roof off anywhere and see them all over the place like pop corn.

Only kidding....but, you ought to drive down here and enjoy our winter. It's really nice.

Don't be fooled. My gf lives near the cities. The snow was not accumulating at all down there. But the DOT was spreading the salty joy all over the roads.

High here today was 55, already started cooling down from that at noon. But I'll only miss about 2 or 3 days of driving the DD this winter if it's like it usually is.

I drove mine the other day. I think it's done for the year now though. Once my new garage is dine it'll go in the trailer and up there for winter storage. This weather sucks.

Yeah, I believe it. Mpls is nuttier than they are down here when it comes to salt. No salt here.

I drove mine last Sunday. I was going to drive it today but it was too much trouble to get it out of the garage.

Here in So Cal it was 75 degrees, and with the wind chill, it was 75 degrees And we have snow, I can see it on mountain tops way off in the distance were its supposed to be !! Some times, just for fun, we take the Vette out to go to see the snow !!!
Seriously, I hope your winter is mild and short so you can get back out in the Vette !!

No snow here yet but it has been raining pretty much all week. Highs are in the mid 40s which is cold for me. Hope the snow stays away a little longer so I can drive my vette some more this year.
