B&B PRT owners
I was wondering, how do you guys like your PRT exhaust (for those who have them)? Im finally getting B&B's by the end of December and wanted to know your opinions on it. any feedback would be nice.
By the way: i own a 2010 manual transmission c6 with about 30,000 miles

Go Canes!
I put them on and hated the drone. It was awful (I have headers). I returned them to B&B and they sent me Fusions instead. Wayyy better!!

had them on my 01z...they were sure "heavy", loved the sound...till i changed exhaust system, then car way to loud and too much drone...
as long as car is stock, they are a quality cat back...and give a unique sound to vettes/.
my suggestion: go with an ls3, with z06 exhaust, and factory NPP...........

I guess it's all personal taste...I have headers and it sounds the way these cars should...like a beast!

It's definitely personal taste. I actually installed PRT's on my C5. I loved the way they sounded on full boil. However, taking a 30 minute ride on the highway was not pleasant. Many people claim they don't have or don't mind the resonance. You can prevent resonance by buzzing around at 3500 rpm or constantly accellerating and decellerating. I suspect that is what they are doing.
The true test is to set the cruise control at 60 or 70 mph in 6th gear and see if you can enjoy a 1 hour ride.
One final note: B&B was a stand up company. They gave me a full refund and I bought a set of Corsa's - no resonance.

i know some of you have mentioned its personal taste, but is the drone really unbearable while cruising down the highway? would it be so bad that i cant hear the radio when i have it at a low volume ? im just trying to get an understanding about how the bad the drone is. i don't want it to be annoying while im driving, can anyone give me a good understanding on how bad it is?

I have a full B&B system to include the PRT's. I have a 2008 Vert, they sound awesome. I had this same system on my C5 and had the same result. B&B has a very nice tone and when you hit it they roar! Another nice thing is that the fit and finish is first rate, and when looking under the back of the car everything is polished!
Good luck with your decision!
