Trip to the NCM: Special Edition 2013 ZR1 (1 of 2 Produced)
My wife and I were coming back from Nashville today and swung by the museum today to have a look around. This was my second time at the museum but the first time actually going through the exhibits: in short a very cool experience.
Here are a couple pics I snapped there and at the plant:
Also, I was checking out the PDI bay and came across this very unique ZR1. In talking to Dave at the museum, it was ordered by a very prominent Corvette enthusiast who gave up a unique vin car to Rick Hendrick. Anyways, Dave did not divulge the gentlemans name but I can only assume this beauty belongs/will belong to Harvey. There is a second one being produced as well that is going to Mario Andretti. They are both Night Race Blue ZR1's with Silver Anniversary stripes: from the factory:
Regardless of who the future owners are: this was a very nice looking car: it certainly stood out in a good way! Kind of has me contemplating trying the same scheme on a 427: really made the car pop.
I really enjoyed my trip to the NCM and everyone there was absolutely great! If you've never been, do make it a point to make it out there at some point.

He has been buying Corvettes for longer than most of us have been alive (well, not longer than I have been alive though). He buys at least one new one every year when the new models come out. I have not seen him post in a while, but I think he has had around 70 Corvettes. He is one seriously classy guy too!
