Just picked up 12 Grand Sport vert, have a question.....
Hey guys, I just picked up a used '12 Inferno Orange Grandsport vert manual trans w/2,200 miles...... STOLE IT from carmax 
$49.9K
(vert, 3LT, NPP, chrome wheels).... I was in for a rude awaking when I realized the VERT does not get a drysump LS3, but my question is, Is the motor still hand built?

Nope.
But I wouldn't worry about it. Your engine should last well over 100k miles and perform well along the way.
Drive it and enjoy it.

Thanks....... I had 08 LS3 h/c the works... 10.66@132 C6, I know it will last, just lol just had my hopes up that it's a "hand built" thats all

Yeah u did steal it. Saw a '11 4LT Inferno GS @ PCB car event a couple of weeks ago. Guy wanted 53 for it w/3.6K miles. Said it stickered at 70.

If I read the stats right, there were 89 Inferno Orange GS verts made in 2012 along with 220 GS coupes. So... let's see a pic of your 1 of 89!
