Secret part missing
My 2012 Velocity Yellow GS A6 coupe seems to have a part missing -the girl magnet! Anyone have the part number??
I have had the car over 1 year now and have not gotten one girl that wanted either me or a ride in the car. I'm starting to get very concerned as I am single and would love to have a co-pilot.
Could it be that I am 65 and a tad overweight? Surely not!!!!

the next step is to start carrying a roll of Benjamins. Oh quit using the Ben Gay ointment that smells they have a non scented version now.
The comb over that flaps in the breeze must be cut off. Polyester pants just throw them away......all these things helped me find the love of my life

it`s none of the above. Because you have the vette, all the single women know that you have a small one...
If you look down and can`t see it...must be true

wax the chest, lose the medalion, get rid of that 1970's shirt, the white shoes, red socks, and all the above. Brut and old spice went out a long time ago, get some Jean Paul Gautier, or Xeryus cologne, and for gods sake clean the nasal and ear hair out.

You got it all 65 years old, overweight, yellow vette, with an A6, plus you forgot to mention your baseball hat when you are out trolling. It is over you wasted your bucks, should have gotten a Volt.

Don't feel bad, I' had mine since 28 Nov 05 and not once have I encountered anyone stopping to take pictures or ask me what it is, let alone a female wanting a ride.

Get a vanity license plate that says "SINGLE". Most Vette owners are married, especially the ones with an A6 transmission. It pays to advertise, and their are way more single women than men out their your age, so let them know your available.

I believe that the girl magnet function has been removed from the latest Corvettes as part of GM's latest buyer protection plan.
Apparently it has been empirically determined that acqisition of a GF is considerably more expensive than acquistion of a GS.
In addition, if you crash the GS it costs you a car whereas crashing the GF thing can cost you a house.

Maybe this will help: about 16 or 17 years ago, when I was madly dating, I came across a "personals ad" that stated among other things, "guys with Corvettes need not reply", in other words, she did not want to date Corvette owners! After being on this forum for many years, I now better understand why she stated what she did...!!
