I've owned my Triple Black GS for one week as of tonight and I think I am about to wear out the hinges on my garage door just going out to stand in the garage and look at it.

I know exactly what you mean. My Corvette has the ability to put me in a better mood every time I drive it. Last night I ran a couple errands and was walking back to my Corvette (in the back of the parking lot). I had turned the red LED cove lights on and was amazed that it was my car.

Funny you should post. I'm in my garage 3 feet from my car now. I open my door every morning before work to catch a glimpse, then off I go, knowing I'm a very lucky guy. I have some early muscle stuff, one of which is an American Graffiti replica 55. Extremely wicked but I don't look at it every a.m. Before work. I like to joke around when I'm walking out to my car after a dinner and say. I don't know who owns that car but I wish I was him. Then I say oh.......I AM him hahahaha. Centennial GS vert 6spd Callaway. More mods than I can recall. Nothing like a Vette. Nothing. This one is my favorite of the 7 vettes I've owned. Can't wait for the unveiling of the c 7. Gonna take a lot to move me more than my c6.

We have each purchased our cars for one reason or another. Whether you're an avid car enthusiast or just think the Corvette is the "cool" car.... we agree that these cars are amazing.
What makes me realize this is the fact that I have owned my car for alittle over a year now and it still puts a massive smile on my face every time I either get behind the wheel or see it.
I drive my Durango as a daily driver and always park my Corvette in the garage hen not in use. I get her out at least once a week to let her stretch her legs. The rest of the time she enjoys relaxing in my nice warm garage. What surprises me most is I can stumble in the garage at anytime of the day, in the morning half awake, in the evening half tipsy, or even in mid day looking for a random tool, and be stopped in my tracks by how awesome the car looks just sitting there. Standing there looking at my MY vette with her few add-ons, I smile thinking that I was finally able to purchase my dream car and it looks so damn good. Ill give up the search for the random tool and take two or three laps around the garage just admiring my car. Sometimes I feel a little crazy hahaha. I know there are nicer corvettes out there but this one is mine and I have made it into exactly what I want (ok maybe needs a widebody).
Any of you ever experience this? Just walk out of somewhere and see your car and think "DAMN! That awesome machine is mine!"

There was a tv commercial way back in the day for some car and it would ask something along the line of " does your car make you turn back and look? "
I can honestly now say YES! Yes it does!

I have been driving Vettes for the last 16 years. I do the same thing the OP does every day. The feeling never changes.
