Pic request: Silver Z with the '13 ZR1/Z06 wheels in silver
It may not be a popular choice (silver paint and silver painted wheels) but I love the looks of them. I've seen one or two sets of the new wheels in a true painted silver (not the machined face) but not on a silver car. I'd LOVE to see them. Anyone got a pic of that?

there is one for sale near me, I almost bought it, but ended up getting white instead. I'll see if I can dig up some pictures

I'm picturing those wheels on a silver Vette (using the last pic with the silver truck in the background) and to me it's like bathwater. Just warm and average, not HOT! 
I think it would like too much of the same thing. Silver needs something to POP on it, like chrome. Some kind of sparkle or shine.
Of course, this is just my opinion. Doesn't count for a thing.

But a blade silver vette with bright silver wheels when clean is gonna be nice, IMO.

Well, there are at least two of us that like the silver on silver look, because I think it looks great. The black ZR1 with the silver wheels above also looks very good to me. Have you also tried asking this question in either the ZR1 or Z06 sections?
