Default Michelins where to get installed (Knoxville)

Plan on getting Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP's!!

Anyone know what dealer/installer uses the Touchless machine, so I don't
get scratches on the rims!!

Calling some of these places, don't seem to know what I'm talking about!!

thanks

Also, find someone with a Hunter Road Force balancing machine. Used properly, it will tell the tech not only how to balance, but if a wheel/tire is out of round or out of true. Tell them to get the RF down around 10-12.

Billy Bob will tell you he can do just was well with his normal balancer, but he's lying.

look on tirerack.com for services. they have a section of recommended installers. then, call them and ask what kind of machine they have.

Thanks for all the help guys!!

Going with European Auto Garage here in Knoxville! They have the
Hunter GSP9700 State-of-the-Art RoadForce balancer!

Also have the touch less tire installer!

Total cost out the door for all 4 is just under $100.00!!

I talked to the "billy bob's" they did tell me they could do it but after looking around on CF, I was trying to avoid any scratched rims, etc!

I have 2008 with 32k miles & never had wheels off the car!!

I'm picking up the tires, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP from dealer ( Stevenson in Maryville) for $1350.00 out the door, so will have total cost of 1450.00 seems good to me!!

Getting them installed later this morning!!

thanks

Our club in the knoxville area has been sending our group to H and H John Hutchins

Back in the late '80s I paid more than that to replace the tires on my '85 Vette! And, as we all know, every dollar was worth WAY MORE back then. I paid $25,000.00 for that new '85.

Appreciate the info!!

I had them installed today!!
They seem to be much better then OEM!

But have to get psi set right!

I didn't tell them what pressure, front got 37 & rear 38!!

Too much right?? I used to keep the factory tires around 30-31!!
thanks
