I did the same thing. I later found out that a friend of mine saw my car being built and was able to get all of the sheets that are attached to the car while it goes down the line. I still need to get those laminated. They are authentic right down to a line worker's shoe print on one where it must have come off the car and got re-attached.

There are other threads on this topic. Those that find build sheets in their cars are lucky as I understand that most have the build sheets discarded along the way. My 2012 ZR1 did not have any build sheets and I had to obtain one from the NCM.
At the time I also got an extra window sticker and had both laminated.

I found 2 of the "line" build sheets in my car. I forget how many of them there are, but there is one for each department the car passes through on the line. These are not the same as the "final" build sheet, which is what you can order form the museum. I ordered that as well. Plan to put them all in a poster frame with my window sticker.

My salesperson said my build sheet was in one of the rear cubby's and was very glad he had saved it for me. But when my new GS arrived the build sheet was gone - I've looked everywhere. My guess is the person prepping the car threw it away. I am very disappointed especially since the salesperson was so happy and excited to tell me he had saved it. And yes, I have asked him about it and he says it was in the rear cubby.

Send your vin # to the Museum & they will sell you a laminated or engraved one, depending how deep your pockets are.
