Wiper Speed Too Fast

Wiper Speed Too Fast
I'm irritated with GM for the speed range on my 2012 wipers. The slowest speed is just way too fast.
It blows me away they would design the wipers with 8 million speed adjustments with a speed range that started about 5 seconds too fast. Have these dip wads never driven in a drizzle or experienced road spray?
Is there a way to change the speed settings, aftermarket or otherwise?

Use the interval setting. It's got about 6 or 7 intervals you can set it to. Only way I know to change the speed settings.

Ok I wanted to be sure that was what was meant because I was surprised it was suggested, as if I wasn't using it..
The slowest setting is too fast.
As compared to any other modern vehicle I've owned the slowest wiper interval is almost 2 for 1 to any other car. It's BS.

How fast is your slowest interval setting? Mine is VERY VERY slow and has a huge delay between swipes...as in several seconds.
Do you want 3-4 swipes per minute? lol
At that point you just use the manual single swipe

"Wiper speed too fast"
And some say there's nothing new ever discussed on the forum. I respect your opinion but I've never felt the windshield wipers were operating too fast.
What a concept!

The Corvette was meant to be driven between the raindrops, not through them.

I'm just curious where you drive, that the rain (?) is such a minimal volume and on a continuously consistant basis to only require wipers to operate at half their current lowest speed setting.
I generally have to switch settings quite often when the need is less than full time. By the time the need is in the lower frequency range, I usually just opt for a manual swipe as required.
The wife's Caddy has the rain sensitive setting, so maybe that's what you need.

I'm quite surprised I'm alone here so far. To me and my recent passenger it's a glaring flaw.
The fact that all my other vehicles have a much slower adjustment (which I use all the time) tells me I'm not alone.
This is a user issue. A very simple detail that was botched on a driver's car. It's akin to the clutch pedal being the safety disaster that it is when used with wet soles.

How fast is your lowest setting....how often does it wipe?
I honestly can't believe a slower speed would be necessary, so maybe it changed with later model years?
How often would you like it to wipe? Once every 10 seconds? Slower?

I drove through various rain conditions in the drive home Monday from spitting to moderate, and didn't notice the wiper speeds being an issue any more than in any other car I've ever driven... if it gets to the true super light rain, just do the single wipe... My car is a '12 too. Honestly if it is visibly different from any car you've been in you are probably "doing it wrong". Put a stopwatch on it and let everyone know the delay. Without that it is just speculation as to whether it is a real issue or just someone's one-off perception.
I don't plan to drive the vette in the rain normally but like others I now put rainX on my DD and don't even use the wipers unless it is a hurricane-level downpour.
