I bought mine from MP in 2005. I live in California and picked it up at the museum. No problems with California state taxes or registration. I would buy from them again if the price was right.

As previously stated, they were forum vendors at one time, but they treated some forum members badly and are no longer forum vendors. I don't remember all the details, so that's all I'm going to say.

That's what I was trying to find out, I have been getting bad vibes the last couple times I have talked to them. They advertise one price then when I started asking questions which rebates were included the sales person hung up on me.

The issue was that there were reports of customers ordering new Corvettes at mutually agreed upon prices but when the cars arrived the dealership refused to honor the deals. Instead, they raised the prices and gave the customers the option of paying the higher prices or walking away so that the dealership could sell the cars to others willing to pay the higher prices.

Anyone here remember Willa that character on here around the same time?

You're not too far from Clayton Chevrolet in Arab. Give Brian Clayton a call, he helped me order my GS.
I would also talk to our local forum supporters about the car you are interested in. They will make you a great deal. I ended up working with Brian because he was recommended by my local club, and he also gave me a great deal. And I also have the option of working a trade, which is much more difficult with a far away dealer.

There are many good forum vendors that will give you "No BS" pricing. I recommend contacting them. I used Tim Boon @ Boardwalk and he exceeded my expectations and had me driving out with my car in about an hour, even with a trade that was difficult to find a value for as it was limited availability and no sales/trades on the market in awhile.
