40000ks ( 25000 miles ) it needed both front brake lines replaced as well as the steering pump assembly and the oil pan gasket. What the heck hey .......only $3000 for items that last way longer on any other car i ever owned. I pampered this car and I would never buy another vette. Nice car to drive, handled almost as well as my m3 , great motor but the lack of quality really scares me.
With only 4 total posts in over a year, and not owning a Vette currently, and a scant profile...you're on this forum why????

On my 5th Vette...love it..every model has improvements...

If you don't like 'em, then don't go away mad, just...go away....

Love my '08 with 18,000 trouble free miles.

Comfy seats for those long trips to Carlisle. Next year going to visit Bowling Green.

With F55 suspension, the ride is as sweet as my Caddy.

I couldn't - wouldn't - comprehend going to an EVO. Yuk.

Go back to your EVO and try another forum.

I also have not driven my car to work because I'm not ready to inform my co-workers just yet and have them in my business. I read through these forums quite a bit and see issues that make me wonder if it's going to happen to me. In fact, I wash the Vette and "think" about driving more than I actually do. I think it's more of circumstance than the car itself for me not driving much. You don't deserve to be bashed for how you feel about your former car and your C6. Maybe there is something else that makes you have regret; such as the costs or the friendship that you had with the EVO community. I have 2 co-workers with the Evo X and they love them. They try to convince me to buy 1 also, but it's not my thing...although they are nice cars. Hang on to the Vette and truly figure out what you regret before making a decision. Take a real drive with no tasks in front of you...no grocery shopping, no errands, and not driving to work. On that note, I have the day off today and will take a nice drive and forget about the hang ups that I have. Good luck.
I sincerely commend you for a most thoughtful response, good for you. I really appreciate it when someone can speak honestly and without personal attack or judgment. Kudos.

No regrets. Bought a 2010 this summer with only 1100 miles. No problems! some of my coworkers kidded me a bit about being an overpaid government worker, but my wife and I bought it to have some fun with and take some short trips. We drove to northern Michigan (700 miles) to see the fall colors about two weeks ago and found the Vette seats comfortable. Moreso than the 2012 Durano Citadel seats.

I'm on C6 number three - just picked it up three weeks ago and drove home from Montana. Beautiful car - 'vert, Grand Sport, 60th Anni package, Arctic White with silver stripes.

Just had my second flat tire repaired today. Get out and drive!

I regret selling my '08 3LT in March.

Now I'm hunting for a replacement, which I plan to keep a long time.

Anyone want to sell me their Crystal Red Metallic or Blue '08 or newer 3LT in Northern california?

It is a tough move from an Evo to a Corvette as they are different cars entirely. If you enjoyed your past Evos a lot, it's no surprise that you can't really find your place in a Vette. When you can, get out from under your Vette and get into another Evo-type car and enjoy.

Sold my 72 Pantera to get my 08 Z51 Vert..

Like the smoother ride and roomier interior, and that is no joke..Ed

I traded a 2008 Jaguar XK convertable for my 2012 2LT coupe. The fit and finish, reliability, flat out speed, and overall quality of the Corvette is superior.

Nope, for me, no regrets at all.

The OP comes here and says he still likes his car but is not crazy about the seats and a few of you dump on him for having an opinion. Everybody is entitled to an opinion and you don't have to agree with him but give him the respect he deserves. Lighten up people.

If you would have read his post thoroughly, the EVO comments are what has sparked most of this....seats aside, liking an Evo X better just means you're probably not a true Corvette guy...

Liking an Evo X better, on a Corvette forum, is going to get you the big smack-down....

The seats, interior and NAV do indeed suck major ***. However, when I put my race seats in and hit the track, I fall in love with my car all over again.

Corvettes aren't the right car for everybody.

Evo's??? You have to be kidding or just posted this to stir the pot. No grown man in the world would ever praise a Evo over a Corvette.

So what if he is not a "true Corvette guy". No need for a smack-down. We are all grown ups I thought. He asked if anyone else felt the same way. Maybe some do.
