Regret buying your C6?

Safety Car
My only regret is that I waited so long to buy mine! From the looks, to the targa roof, to the performance, to the comfort & cargo room, to the gas milage.. to the price. There is absolutely nothing else in the sports car market that even comes close to a C6.
That said, I never understand "cry baby" threads like this. If you bought something and you arent satisfied with it. Then either you didnt do enough research on it before buying it.. or why dont you just sell it? I have little to no emotional attachment to pretty much any material good I own (including my Vette). And I have no problem buying/selling/trading those goods when they no longer serve me a purpose. Go find the the car that makes you happy, instead of complaining about the one that does not.

No regrets here whatsoever and think the seats are very comfortable as many others have stated. Good luck with whatever you decide and I'm sure the Import community would welcome you back.

I also purchased my 1st C6 a couple of months ago. I found the exact color inside & out, LS3 engine, manual transmission, price, and it was local...but I rarely drive. After picking it up and driving home, I almost felt immediate regret. A car like that is a selfish purchase, but I wanted it. My wife commented that she can't drive it and won't be able to enjoy it. I also have not driven my car to work because I'm not ready to inform my co-workers just yet and have them in my business. I read through these forums quite a bit and see issues that make me wonder if it's going to happen to me. In fact, I wash the Vette and "think" about driving more than I actually do. I think it's more of circumstance than the car itself for me not driving much. You don't deserve to be bashed for how you feel about your former car and your C6. Maybe there is something else that makes you have regret; such as the costs or the friendship that you had with the EVO community. I have 2 co-workers with the Evo X and they love them. They try to convince me to buy 1 also, but it's not my thing...although they are nice cars. Hang on to the Vette and truly figure out what you regret before making a decision. Take a real drive with no tasks in front of you...no grocery shopping, no errands, and not driving to work. On that note, I have the day off today and will take a nice drive and forget about the hang ups that I have. Good luck.

I don't get the whole "the seats/interior" sucks complaints. If thats how someone truly feels, those things are easy to upgrade. If a car isn't fast enough, people pour thousands of dollars into the car to boost the performance...so why is it so hard to do the same to the interior. Once thats done, the c6 is the most complete "true" sports car for the price. In my eyes the looks of the evo "sucks" and thats something that can't be changed. I do admit i love how they grip the road but the car itself is far from being the total package

Also the C-6 interior is superior to the C-5 which is made by Rubbermaid

no regrets, other than waiting so long to get it! Starting it, driving it, washing it, looking at it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling every time - smiling like the village idiot here!

On my 4th Corvette now:

2007 Z51
2012 GS (RIP)
2011 GS
I think the OP was trolling... No more posts. Nothing wrong with the seats and the EVO looks like someone took a couple of slices off a block of wood and put 4 tires on it. Sounds like crap too. As long as you get a 2LT or better the interior and gadgets are fine.
If the OP was even serious, something tells me he cares too much about what his ricer friends have to say, when they are just bagging on him because they are jealous.

Everyone has different needs and tastes. Corvettes are not for everybody neither are Ford Focus and Evo's etc.etc. In my view, Corvettes are kinda sorta street legal race cars....I like them because they are a decent compromise to all out performance that you can actually drive on the street, are very hot looking, have very high resale compared to many other makes, can be repaired for a resonable cost and have an "edge" and soul to them I have not found in too many other cars.
But the bottom line is that if you don't like them you don't like them.
BTW, I came to Corvette after a string of BMW's.
