It looks good! However I have to ask what are the laws where you live in relation to tinting? I know that if I did that here in NC I would probably get a ticket long before I showed up for inspection and got failed!

I live in southern Arizona so I understand window tinting is like life support but I wouldn't sacrifice visibility and safety for some perceived 'cool' factor. As you well know, there'll be circumstances when that level of tint isn't safe. Good luck with it....I hope it works out well for you.

Where I live, I couldn't even get a safety inspection done, but it does look cool. Good luck.

I live in a state that 35% is legal on the whole car. That being said, this is not a driver and will only see car shows and the track. Also, the windshield is NOT tinted at all. Just the rear and side windows. It will take some getting used to, but I love it. Total privacy. I will take the ticket if I get one, its no big deal. As for visability, in the day its totally fine. At night, I have a feeling I will be rolling the windows down alot. But I do love it and the car just looks totally different now. Thanks for the minimal hate here. I know the old fogies are quick to hate on us young guys with C6's.......the street racing law breakers.

Wait till you tint your side markers. That brings out some real interesting (idiotic) responses.

I would back into everything.. sideswipe the shyt out of everything.. scrape the hell outta the wheels when parallel parking & roll the front bumper into a crash bar if I made the windows any harder to see out of.. than they already are. And driving a red Corvette with big shiny chrome wheels.. I definitely dont need anymore attention from local law enforcement.

I've tinted all of my vehicles with 20% in the past.. but the Vette is one that will not get any form of it. I just dont see how you guys drive the car, at your fullest potential, with it being even harder to see out of.

Your car looks great. This "old fart" can't go that dark. I can't see at night anyhow. Yours really looks good. Congratulation on a good job!!

I don't think safety has anything to do with age. Intelligence and maturity perhaps, but not age.

Better yet...wait until he lowers it. Broken leaf spring comments are classic and dumb.

Yeah windshield tinting is just nuts. I know they do that in the real hot parts of the country. Im in the midwest, so in the summer it gets pretty hot. But not year round, and almost never over 100. This summer was pretty bad though. The tints would have been great for this summer.

As I get older my tints get lighter. Just took off the tints off my Vette as I didn't want to get stopped for having tints. In NJ you will def get a tickets for having tints on your windows.

All of my other weekend cars had tints, but decided not to have any on the Vette

when you get in the car it's like having blinders on your eyes????????
ok, you asked for it so here comes one from a 'musty old fart'.
yeah, the car looks great like that, and you aren't using it as a dd. but what about the right circumstances, time of day etc. when the guy on a motorcycle is in the wrong place at the wrong time, which would be when you can't see him with your 'blinders' on. bikers have enough death by not being seen, and that's with people who CAN see out their windows. i think your ride would look good enough with tint you can see out of.
this isn't about old guy vs/ misunderstood youth, this is about risking some other poor guy or gal's life. seriously. and there's nothing that can be said, that could dispute anything i just said.

All one piece or two pieces.... and if its two pieces, can you even tell? Thanks
It should be done in 2 seperate pieces All good Tinters will tell you, Tint for the bottom and Vinyl for the Dot Matrix.

I like it, I went 18% for the back and 38% side windows. Stayed within the requirements for my state. However not going to use my vette for off road use only when I slightly tinting my tails and side markers.
