I have liked this Color Combo since the beginning. The new owner didn't want to be pictured but he loves his new 2012 Grand Sport Cpe in Crystal Red Metallic tint coat and Red interior, Comp Gray Wheels and Red Calipers,6spd manual,2LT pkg.

You know there WAS a time when you could order a Corvette with a matching color interior no matter what color exterior you ordered ! I mean everythying matched, console trim, carpet, dash, doors and seats ! Ahh the good old days.

Back in the day (now you know I'm old) I bought a new 75 coupe in Warren, Ohio that was painted, I believe "firethorn", a slightly darker version of CRM and the interior was a "maroon red" that matched perfectly, FWIW.

I have never been a fan of red interiors; I think is based on the years of red-velour and vinyl torture in the 70's! I would see posts on various boards about their red interiors and thought to myself "whatever, it's your car not mine"...
All of that changed recently when I happened upon my convertible. I actually remember thinking that I must be nuts- the inside is red! The funny part is I didn't come to that realization until AFTER I saw and test-drove it. Maybe because it is two-tone but it just looks super and is fitting in a Corvette.
Very nice and the gray wheels in the new car above gives it an "all-business, don't even think about it" look!

Life would be dull indeed if we all liked the same things. I like CRM but I think the red interior is atrocious! My opinion aside it's all good....I'm glad your customer got the color combo he wanted. Vive la différence!

The colours clash in my opinion. If the customer is happy, my opinion doesn't mean squat.
