Default Bass & Trebel defaults to center

After every cycle of the ignition.
I just noticed it started today

Did I hit something to make it reset? It's a non Bose, non nav deck.

Have you tried saving the settings with the buttons on the door?

I realize they shouldn't be doing what you say they're doing, just suggesting that might help.

I believe the seat position memory also recalls the stereo settings and the settings can be different depending on source.

Yeah the seat recall info does change the stereo. Whenever I use my spare FOB for anything the seat always goes to a different position and the only reason I notice is because the mirrors point straight down and the stereo goes to the CD player and not my iPod.

I got my regular FOB set up perfect but I never did mess with the passenger one which is why it defaults to being all screwed up.

I don't have my manual around but can you still program driver preferences with just a fob? That's the only thing I can think of when my car does something out of the normal is when I have the wrong fob in my hand.

Butchn, I've a '12 1LT (non bose, non nav) & had the same issue. I don't recall exactly, but review your owner's manual on radio presets:

When cycling through the XM or radio stations, the manual states to set/choose the station, then choose what AutoEQ preset you want for each, jazz, rock, etc, & then save it. If you don't save the AutoEQ, they all go back to center base & treble after each ignition cycle.

I preset their AutoEQ all to Jazz (it sounds the best to me) & they're always set on Jazz when I start it up now.

Here's what the 2012 owner's manual says. Have you tried the indicated method for saving the settings you've made? The **** they're talking about (below) is the **** on the bottom left of the radio controls.
